Basic Life Support Training, Kent

The QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) qualification has been designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations. With an estimated 60,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests occurring every year in the UK alone, make sure you are prepared!

This course can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but feel their resuscitation skills need updating.

Attendees may well range from parents, carers, school staff and other first aiders.

The BLS training normally takes place over three hours and includes the necessary theory followed by lots of practical “hands-on” practice to build confidence.

The Syllabus includes

  • Legislation
  • Understanding CPR and when we need to apply it
  • Management of the Incident
  • Basic Life Support
  • Recovery Position
  • Correct use of the AED 

Our training is in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2010 and can be adapted to suit the client in respects to what age group they may be resuscitating.

Cost

The cost of this course for a group of up to 12 students is £600 + VAT
