Working at Height Awareness Training Course

This general working at height course is designed for anyone whose job requires them to work at height (above or below ground level).

This 3 hour general working at height course is designed for anyone whose job requires them to work at height (above or below ground level). The course focuses on what you need to know to use the right working at height safety equipment in order to create the safest working environment possible. Anyone who will be required to work where there is a possibility of a fall from height would be suitable for this course.

Why is this training important?

One of the major causes of serious injury is through employees falling from height. Evidence has shown that even working at a low height can cause fatalities

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the relevant Health & Safety, working at height regulations and legislation
  • Knowing and avoiding the hazards of working at height
  • Understanding the Importance of carrying out risk assessments
  • Identify and select the correct type of safety equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each task
  • Inspection, maintenance and record keeping
  • Employers and employees responsibilities
     
Course costs: £45.00 per person
There is a reduction for group bookings
