On Tuesday night : Chatham Town FC narrowly beat Ashford FC 6-5 on Penalties to enter the next round of the FA Cup.
As Veteran Sappers (Royal Engineer): Eric McCann and Steven Waterman are especially happy as Chatham Town FC are following in the footsteps of the Corps of Royal Engineers who where the fourth winners of the FA cup in 1875, and to this date still the only Army Regiment to win the FA Cup beating the Old Etonians 2-0:
